Auditions for admission and scholarships to the following educational institutions will be held at the following times:

PUERTO RICO CONSERVATORY
National and International students:
Date: Monday, January 12th and Tuesday, January 13th, 2009
Time: 10am-2pm
Place: Ascanio Arosemena Theater (in the classrooms located behind the Theater), Panama Canal Authority (Autoridad del Canal de Panama, ACP), Balboa-Ancon, Panama City, Panama.
The last day to apply for auditions is December 1st, 2008. Application forms will not be accepted on the website after this date.
Students:
-Berklee College of Music: Auditions during the week of the festival wont be garantized for national students who havent pre-register by december 11.
-Who miss the registration date of December 1st, 2008, may come to the location where the audition is being held during the week of the Jazz Festival and put their name on a waiting list.
-Who arrive late to their scheduled audition will be placed on the waiting list.
-Who sent their forms to the website will receive an e-mail with an additional form which they must complete and send by e-mail to audiciones@panamajazzfestival.com.
Once we have received all the necessary forms, we will send an invitation to audition with the date and time of your audition. Students must arrive at least a half-hour before their audition begins, prepare their instrument and be ready to play when their audition starts.
Parents and guardians of students who are auditioning are not permitted in the audition room.
The audition results will be announced by the same institutions that are holding the auditions and will be available approximately two to four months after the date of the auditions.
