Teatro Nacional
 
The new Republic of Panama was to have a National Theatre by Law in 1904. The Italian architect Genaro Ruggieri was commisioned to design the National Theatre. The construction contract was awarded to the Duque and Arias Company and the supervisor of the construction was the engineer Florencio Harmodio Arosemena. The date of the inauguration was on October 1, 1908 with the inauguration of Don José Domingo de Obaldia as the President of the Republic. The theatre can seat 853 persons for a performance.
 
Teatro Anayansi
 
This spectacular 2,806 seat theater/auditorium has been duly equiped to allow the performance of the most complex artistic presentations and counts with state-of-the-art acoustics. The sound and lighting systems are computarized and it has a hydraulic pit that holds 100 musicians.

Plaza de la Catedral
 
The Plaza de la Catedral (Cathedral Park) is in the center of the Casco Antiguo (Old City) in Panama City. It is surrounded by buildings that are part of the city's history, including the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Museum of the Canal (that at one time had been Panama's main Post Office and before that the offices of the French Canal Company), the Municipal Palace and many others. It has a gazebo in the middle of the park, surrounded by statues, monuments and gardens. Today it is a place where turists from all over the word often visit it.
