CHILDREN’S PROGRAM
Description: This program is an interdisciplinary and multicultural experience for children ages 4-12. The students learn rhythms and dances from different cultures and perform at the Panama Jazz Festival. This program teaches children how to repeat rhythms, use their body as a musical and expressive instrument, work as part of a team, prepare a professional multimedia performance, and practice values such as respect, discipline, and cultural tolerance.

Date: January 4-15, 2010
Location: Centro de Capacitaciones and the Ascanio Arosemena theater, Panama Canal Authority (ACP), Balboa, Ancón, Panama City.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10:00am-1:00pm or 2:00-5:00pm
Price: $60

NOTE: In order to participate in the Children’s program, you must pre-enroll. Students will not be allowed to enroll during the week of the festival.
Open: Enrollment is open from October 1, 2009 until January 8, 2010.
To enroll: Download this form, fill it out and bring it, along with your payment, to the office of the Danilo Perez Foundation, located in the Old National Conservatory, in front of Plaza Herrera, in Casco Viejo. If you are unable to download the form, you must come to the office in order to fill out the form and pay the enrollment fee.
